June 1, 2006 (Los Angeles, CA) - Chase Alumni Association Unveils its New Portal Utilizing The Magnet Platform.


Chase Alumni Association's new worldwide corporate alumni hub on The Magnet offers a multitude of features and benefits, delivering a simple, streamlined, and value-oriented communication and interaction web to former employees of Chase, Chase Manhattan Bank and its various later iterations, including JPMorgan Chase. Current employees of JPMorgan Chase are also among those leveraging The Magnet to stay in touch with former colleagues.

At its core, The Magnet's technology delivers to the administrative staff a high degree of control over all types of maintenance tasks. In particular, the processes of content creation, membership tracking, event management, and other tedious day-to-day tasks are now mostly automated and/or distributed among the team. Before adopting The Magnet, Chase Alumni website required their Webmaster's time and intervention for most tasks. Now the Webmaster job is divided among several of the chapter's staff and volunteers, none of whom have--or need--more than minimal background in web design.

"Just four weeks ago we were something like #150 on Google for people searching for 'Chase alumni.' We are now #1. Being near the top was one of the objectives for the new site. The Magnet did a very good job in advising us what to put on the home page and how to say it in order to achieve these results," said Jean-Marc Bara, Vice President of the Chase Alumni Association.

"Our operations have been streamlined, membership renewals are stronger than they've ever been before, and we're now able to spread out content management and article creation among all our officers. Our team has had accolades galore from our Board of Directors and from our alumni as a direct result of our transition to The Magnet." says Leon Deshbrow, Vice President of the Chase Alumni Association.
